ROWSEEDERS
Boot or point seeders are practically unused in many places where only disk seeders are being used, but they are used in other places. Is this because they are useful for some types of land/climate, or simply because farming uses has not evolved sufficiently in those areas but in the future, they will be definitely replaced by disk seeders in any of their multiple variations and versions? Thanks.
The machine is more economic, and if the residue increases the tines can be placed in 4 lines so it does not create raking, and also a breaking disk can be placed at the front.
The following characteristics for the tines of direct sowing seeders can be found in the bibliography:
-Ideal for use soil with bad physical conditions,
-Easy to use,
-Low relative cost,
-Are difficult for use with stones and roots,
-Produce accumulation of residues,
-They cause ridges in very dry soils,
-Higher demand for power,
-All this means that the tines and disks will be on the market for a long time.
