Bellota present at FIMA 2018

Bellota will have new models of discs on display that have special shapes, sizes and designs to cut through the toughest residue and minimize the effort required, as well as longer-lasting and more accurate double-reinforcement cultivators. The Agrisolutions group will also announce the opening of a new production plant in Spain.

After the successful launching campaign for the double-reinforcement cultivators last year, Bellota continues to expand on the double-reinforcement and working width concept with new references. These cultivators will undoubtedly be the main attraction among the public who come to visit. Nevertheless, the Bellota stand will be full of new products such as the new VT-REX discs, which have a curved wave design and a specific blade that can cut through the hardest waste, along with the inPHINium discs, which are the most durable on the market. Other innovations that will be on display are the new tines fitting Kongskilde. These will be on display under the brand name Solbjerg, which is part of the same group, Agrisolutions.

But undoubtedly the most interesting piece of news for the industry is the setting up of a new production plant in Spain to make all kinds of tines and the high requirements and specifications of the leading manufacturers around the world in the next decade will be taken into account.

The new plant is in line with the latest trends of the sector as it complies with the LEAN system throughout the production process, and it has also incorporated concepts of the Industry 4.0 to obtain data and monitor all the information in the future. Ergonomic improvements have also been made; the level of safety has been increased with the help of robots that will be in charge of the most difficult processes.

Furthermore, as usual at FIMA Bellota will try and keep visitors entertained with a few attractions that will definitely not go unnoticed.
